WHAT IS IT?
The PERUMIN Seal of Excellence in Gender Equity is a distinction that recognizes organizations within the mining ecosystem that have embraced equity as a strategic pillar for development. In line with the Sustainable Development Goals, this initiative promotes the adoption of international standards and highlights institutions that foster inclusive work environments, diverse forms of participation, and organizational cultures committed to collective well-being.Through this distinction, the PERUMIN Seal of Excellence in Gender Equity seeks to inspire sustainable transformations across the entire mining value chain.

UN: Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs)
Clear guidelines are provided to integrate gender equality across the workplace, marketplace, and community.
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
The Seal is aligned with four SDGs: SDG 5: Gender Equality, SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
Global Reporting Initiative (GRI)
Global standards are promoted to ensure transparency in sustainability and inclusion in corporate reporting.
ISO 26000
Social responsibility and shared value are encouraged through ethical and sustainable business practices.
EDGE Certification
An international certification system with measurable indicators is used to assess and strengthen gender equity in the workplace.
