Dear all,

I am writing to you in my capacity as President of the Logistics Meeting of PERUMIN 37 to invite you to participate in this important event, which will take place on Thursday, September 25. The program will be divided into two blocks, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and will be held in Commercial Rooms No. 05 and 06, as well as in the Nilo Ríos Quinteros Room at the Convention Center.

The Logistics Meeting is a key space for the mining industry, where we will bring together internal clients, buyers, contract administrators, suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders of the sector. The objective is to foster open dialogue on the challenges and opportunities in logistics management, share experiences, and explore technological innovations that add value to our industry.

In the morning, a business matchmaking session will be held with the participation of leading mining companies, including:

·       Copper producers: Antamina, Cerro Verde, Southern, Quellaveco, Las Bambas, Antapaccay, Chinalco, Marcobre, Hudbay, Nexa Resources, Anglo American Perú.

·       Gold producers: Yanacocha, Poderosa, Horizonte, Buenaventura, Gold Fields.

·       Polymetallic producers: Volcan, Minsur, Hochschild, Pan American, SPM, Fortuna, Alpayana.

·       Non-metallic producers: Miksi Mayo, Unacem, Yura.

·       Projects: Teck-Zafranal, Corani.

·       EPCM firms: Bechtel, Fluor, Bisa Jacobs Engineering Group.

In the afternoon, we will host discussion panels addressing key topics such as:

1.       Informality and corruption: Can mining companies and/or suppliers play a more active role in combating these scourges that afflict our society?

2.       Collaborative relationships: Philosophy, implications, and challenges of applying this approach in the mining industry.

Mining represents a fundamental pillar of the Peruvian economy, accounting for 65.4% of the country’s total exports during the first four months of the year. In this context, the meeting aims to strengthen the sector and contribute to its sustainability under the theme:
"Together for more opportunities and well-being for all."
