PERUMIN Hub
PERUMIN Hub, a program aimed at those who have innovative proposals and solutions to face the current challenges of the mining industry, was born from the alliance between the IIMP and the Mining Innovation Hub of Peru.
This year, the thematic axes on which the challenges to be prioritized by the industry were addressed were: Circular and Regenerative Mining, Smart Mining and New Horizons in Mining.
The selected innovators will have the opportunity to present their projects in a preferential space at PERUMIN 37, which will be held from September 22 to 26 in Arequipa. This final presentation will be important to connect with companies in the mining industry, generating opportunities for collaboration and allowing alliances to be established to enhance their proposals and solutions.
In addition, thanks to the support of the MinJust project of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), six finalists will have the opportunity to travel to Germany to learn about its research, development, and innovation ecosystem. Up to two solutions from startups, SMEs or academic institutions from Latin America and the Caribbean will be selected for each of the three thematic areas, according to the jury's evaluation.
