The volunteer program called “Student Leaders”, organized as part of PERUMIN 36, will enable companies participating in the Technological Mining Exhibition (EXTEMIN) to have young students as stand staff.  In return, these young individuals will have the chance to gain insight into the mining industry and learn about the latest technological advancements.

The companies and organizations interested in collaborating with these young leaders must first submit a request indicating the number of students they require for their stand. To do so, please click on the link: https://forms.gle/mSPS6NgoYb9TwKe36

After making a request, companies will receive an e-mail with instructions for making the corresponding payment. Afterwards, they will gain access to the Match system, where they will be able to select students based on criteria such as major, educational institution, and English proficiency.

It is worth mentioning that the “Student Leaders” program brings together top students from various universities and technical institutions from across the country, including Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP), Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería (UNI), Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (UNMSM), Universidad Nacional San Agustín de Arequipa (UNSA), and Universidad Católica Santa María (UCSM), among others. Students from institutes like Senati, Cetemin, and Tecsup, as well as from associations like Amautas Mineros and the Society for Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration, are also included in this program.

These young individuals come from various fields of study, not limited to those traditionally associated with mining. They will receive specialized training for their roles during the event, including sessions on customer service and first aid.

In addition to having the chance to participate in PERUMIN 36 and interact with prominent leaders of the national and international mining sector, these young leaders will attend a series of conferences tailored exclusively for them and will receive a certificate at the end of the event.
