Our country sets a great example to the global mining industry. Its geological wealth has brought substantial benefits to the country and raises our expectations in a world working toward energy transition.
In this context, different challenges arise in expanding mining production and project investment through innovative mining practices that would enable us to make better use of them and, in turn, keep generating sustainable development in the country.
In an effort to promote the implementation of successful mining practices in the world, PERUMIN organizes the International Meeting, where we will be able to learn about successful management models applied in countries with a long-standing mining tradition, global trends toward new metals, and good practices for territorial development.
On the first day, we will learn a little more about critical metals, lithium, green hydrogen, and circular economy, while on the second day, we will have the chance to discuss how to generate development in territories where there is mining activity, as well as take a closer look at the take-off of mining clusters through international experience, and an approximation to the due diligence guides in human rights.
The program of the meeting has been organized with the support of professionals from five countries, namely Germany, Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland.
I look forward to seeing you at the International Meeting, at PERUMIN, where we will share success stories of the global mining industry.
