The host and organizer of PERUMIN 36 Mining Convention “Investment that generates welfare and sustainable development is the Peruvian Institute of Mining Engineers (IIMP), a private non-profit organization formed by professionals and technicians from the Peruvian mining sector.
Thanks to the work of the IIMP, each edition of PERUMIN Mining Convention has successfully turned into the benchmark for Peruvian and Latin American mining.
From the Peruvian Institute of Mining Engineers (IIMP), we would like to extend fraternal greetings to all the people and organizations that make it possible to hold this PERUMIN 36 Mining Convention, “Investment that generates welfare and sustainable development.”
Since 1954, our organization has been hosting each of the editions of this Mining Convention, which has succeeded in becoming a leading event in Latin America and the world, as well as a platform for showcasing our country’s mineral wealth, boosting and articulating our industry’s sustainable development, promoting the exchange of knowledge among our professionals, promoting institutional and commercial alliances, and formulating proposals to contribute to our country’s development.
By being part of PERUMIN, each one of us is supporting the effort of the sector to bring mining closer to the lives of the Peruvian people. And we are convinced that our activities and our potential to develop will enable us to have a better country, with equal opportunities for all.
Welcome to this event, which today stands as a tradition for our industry, our country, and the beautiful city of Arequipa, where we are always greeted by the charisma and gratitude of its citizens.
