The Peruvian Institute of Mining Engineers (IIMP), the organizer of PERUMIN 36, would like to announce to the national and international press that the accreditation process for coverage of the Mining Convention has started and that you can submit your applications until Friday, August 18.

The first step to obtaining accreditation is to download and read the Procedure and Rules for Media Accreditation at the following link: https://perumin.com/perumin36/public/es/prensa/prensa-form

Then you must complete the Media Accreditation Form at the same link: https://perumin.com/perumin36/public/es/prensa/prensa-form

Once you submit the form, the IIMP will validate your information in order to register you as accredited press. The contact person listed in the accreditation form will be notified via e-mail.

Journalists who fill out a media accreditation form should provide accurate documentation whose authenticity and validity can be validated, such as a press card and a letter on official letterhead issued by corresponding media outlet, the business name and Tax ID number (RUC) of the media outlet, and evidence of recent and back-to-back publications from the outlet.

It should be noted that in the case of print media, the publication should have a minimum of four (04) issues; TV and radio media should have been in continuous operation for the last six (06) months prior to the application for accreditation; while digital media should have been in continuous operation for the last six (06) months prior to the application for accreditation, and must belong to a company registered as a media organization and have a substantial amount of original news content. Social media profiles are not considered digital media outlets.

Accreditation will only be granted to journalists after they submit the previously requested documentation and we verify that they work and/or represent the registered media outlet.

The Peruvian Institute of Mining Engineers – IIMP may request additional documented evidence to clearly establish the applicants’ conditions and validate their authenticity. Moreover, the IIMP reserves the right to deny or withdraw accreditation of journalists from media outlets if the information submitted is not accurate or if their activities run counter to the principles of the activities of the PERUMIN 36 Mining Convention event.
