Lima, JANUARY 3 2024 VII Coaching Program Begins with The Participation Of 40 Student Leaders

This edition is addressed to the Student Leaders of PERUMIN 36 for their invaluable contribution to the development of the Mining Convention.

This January 3rd marks the beginning of the VII Coaching Program, an initiative of the Peruvian Institute of Mining Engineers to enhance the development of soft skills in young talents in the mining sector.

This edition of the program is exclusively aimed at the Student Leaders of technical institutes and universities who participated as volunteers at PERUMIN 36. These 40 students were selected after getting the highest scores in an assessment process that was opened for more than 360 Student Leaders.

The program is organized by Diana Rake, IIMP director, and will last six months through an online modality. The participants will get free access to six personalized sessions that will provide them with the necessary tools to stand out in a working environment and boost their professional and personal growth.

The sessions are led by the ontological coach Marianela Gibaja. Among the topics to be addressed are confidence building, strengthening of self-esteem, consolidation of values, development of leadership, training to face professional selection processes, the importance of personal and professional image, and how to create and manage an effective contact network, as well as other important aspects for professional success

Although the Coaching Program is normally addressed to the graduates of the IIMP’s Mentoring Program, in this opportunity, Student Leaders had the priority due to their invaluable contribution to the development of the Mining Convention.
