Two months before the start of the PERUMIN 36 Mining Convention, its organizers have confirmed that they have sold out all the stands of their Technological Mining Exhibition (EXTEMIN). The event will feature 1,166 stands of mining companies, contractors and suppliers showcasing the latest advances in technology and innovation for the mining industry.

“The progress of EXTEMIN has been very satisfactory. We have sold out all the stands at the fair, which this year will bring many innovations, such as technological metaverse experiences, new commercial rooms equipped to offer the best experience, new attractions at the Virtual Mine, as well as more varied culinary options and much more,” said Enrique Alania, President of EXTEMIN.

In this edition, EXTEMIN will host 435 companies and institutions, and 10 international operators, including world-class mining companies, national and international mining suppliers, NGOs, universities, professional associations, government institutions, media outlets, and regional companies.

Among the most prominent mining companies to attend are Anglo American, Antamina, Cerro Verde, Southern Perú, and Buenaventura, among others, as well as suppliers such as Ferreyros, Komatsu-Mitsui, Ford Perú, Metso Outotec, Bosch Rexroth, Famesa Explosivos, FLSmidth, among others.

EXTEMIN will have an International Pavilion that will accommodate the delegation of this edition’s partner country, Canada, along with delegations from Germany, Australia, Chile, Argentina, the United States, Switzerland, China, and other countries related to the mining sector. These delegations will present the portfolios of goods and services they offer to meet the most demanding requirements of the mining industry.

All this is part of the PERUMIN 36 Mining Convention, a leading mining event in Latin America and the world, which will be held at the Cerro Juli Convention Center, in Arequipa, with the best facilities to welcome the public, from September 25 to 29.
