Confirming its commitment to the highest ethical standards in the responsible and transparent development of its mining activities, Cerro Verde has obtained the ISO 37001:2016 Anti-bribery certification, known as Anti-corruption Management System, which was granted after an exhaustive audit conducted by the certification house LRQA.

Since 2010, Cerro Verde has implemented a prevention model to fight corruption, considering compliance with national anti-corruption legal standards and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) of the United States. For this reason, as of 2018, the decision was made to implement a Management System based on the requirements of the ISO 37001 standard.

The certification process included the evaluation and review of policies, procedures, and controls performed by the company to prevent, detect, and address any kind of malpractice that occurs during the development of our activities.
