PERUMIN 35 Mining Convention is organized by the Institute of Mining Engineers of Peru.

What is EXTEMIN?

EXTEMIN is the abbreviation for Mining Technology Exhibition, the fair organized within the framework of PERUMIN Mining Convention.

How many people participate?

In the previous edition of PERUMIN, we had more than 60,000 attendees. For this new version we are projecting to have a greater number of attendees.

What is the number of modules that PERUMIN will have for this new edition?

The Mining Technology Exhibition - EXTEMIN will have more than 1,400 stands and will host more than 1,000 national and international companies, as well as various institutions.

Does EXTEMIN have international participation?

Yes, we will have the International Pavilion where you can find multiple delegations from different countries, which allows participants to broaden their horizons in terms of their needs. To date, we have 7 confirmed delegations.

Australia is also the Partner country for this edition.

Where is the International Pavilion located?

It will be located in Pavilion No. 05.

What are the opening hours of the fair?

You will be able to visit the Mining Technology Exhibition - EXTEMIN from:

  • MONDAY 26th 12:00 - 19:00 hours
  • TUESDAY 27th 09:00 - 19:00 hours
  • WEDNESDAY 28th 09:00 - 19:00 hours
  • THURSDAY 29th 09:00 - 19:00 hours
  • FRIDAY 30 09:00 - 14:00 hours

What is the cost and size of the stands?

We have 8 categories of stands, ranging from USD 5,500.00 (6m2) to USD 25,000.00 (25m2).

Where is the entrance to the fair?

The entrance to the EXTEMIN fair is through the main entrance: Av. De Las Convenciones.

Which pavilions connect to the plenary hall?

Pavilions 1, 2 and 3.

Which is the pavilion where the mining companies are located?

We do not have a specific location for mining companies.

What are the characteristics of the outdoor area?

You can request this detail at extemin@iimp.org.pe

Is there freedom of choice for module and catering suppliers?

Modules: Yes, after validation with the responsible area of the IIMP.

Catering: No. The Organizer will provide a list for the best choice.

Are hostesses allowed in this version of Extemin?

It is not allowed; however, we have a program to support young people who wish to participate and collaborate with exhibitors.

Is it allowed to bring in water, pisco or beer?

Water is allowed for personal use and merchandising.

With respect to alcoholic beverages, only beverages used as merchandising, e.g., pisco or wine, etc. (with the company's brand name) are allowed.

No entry for personal consumption will be allowed.

What are Extemin's assembly dates and schedule?

The start of the assembly in outdoor areas will be from 07:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 01 and for indoor modules will be from 07:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 08.

Can we hire our own logistics operator?

The organizer assigns the logistics operator for handling activities within the event facilities.

Do we have 24-hour surveillance?

Yes, there is surveillance of the facilities by zones, and entrance and exit doors.

It does not include particular stand protection.
