The cycle of conferences of decentralized Rumbo a PERUMIN presents its next conference where the Human Development Index (HDI) will be analyzed in the regions of Arequipa, Moquegua and Tacna; from a historic viewpoint including future perspectives.
The presentation will be delivered by Francisco Santa Cruz, coordinator of Human Development Reports for the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
Likewise, the discussion will be held with a panel of renowned experts: Grover Pango, member of the National Education Council and former Minister of Education; Alberto Portugal, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ilo; and Paola Gonzáles, general advisor to Paz Perú.
It is worth mentioning that the HDI is an indicator that evaluates the development of countries or regions so as to reflect the actual situation of their inhabitants. For this reason, the HDI is measured based on three key aspects: life expectancy, education, and per capita income.
To learn about the evolution of the HDI in the aforementioned regions, we invite you to participate in the conference to be held on July 21 at 7:00 p.m., as part of the Virtual Jueves Minero [Mining Thursday], transmitted on the social networks of the Peruvian Institute of Mining Engineers and PERUMIN Mining Convention through Facebook and YouTube.
Rumbo a PERUMIN is the virtual decentralized event that promotes multidisciplinary, technical and democratic discussion on mining industry issues and opportunities offered by the sector for the development of the regions of Peru.
Likewise, Rumbo a Perumin precedes PERUMIN, the most important mining convention in Latin America and the second most important in the world to be held from the 26 to the 30 of September at its traditional venue of Cerro Juli Convention Center in Arequipa.
