The Peruvian Institute of Mining Engineers (IIMP) and the Organizing Committee of PERUMIN 35 confirmed a new edition of the decentralized Rumbo a PERUMIN, which this time will focus on the mining region of Cajamarca and will be held on February 16 and 17.
The academic meeting will be carried out under the slogan “Consensuses for the progress of Cajamarca”. As in previous opportunities, the current edition will be a space for analysis and debate and to address the current situation of mining in Cajamarca, the opportunities of the sector for the communities and the challenges for the socio-economic development of the region.
Rumbo a PERUMIN Cajamarca will bring together important directors of the sector, professional association leaders, civil society representatives and executives from supplier companies, to learn firsthand the concerns of the actors involved in the mining industry of Cajamarca and Peru.
The event will include a program of technical and commercial conferences and they will be broadcast through its official channels: Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/PeruminOficial) and YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/c/Perumin) so that they may be viewed by the public in general.
Rumbo a PERUMIN is a meeting that precedes PERUMIN 35 and is carried out virtually in all its editions, to evaluate and formulate an agenda of proposals that may lead to the social and economic development of the mining regions and of Peru in general.
It is worth pointing out that PERUMIN 35, the most relevant mining convention in Latin America, will take place from the 26th to the 30th of September 2022, in its traditional venue at the Cerro Juli Convention Center located in the city of Arequipa.
