This week, Mining Thursday, an event organized by the Peruvian Institute of Mining Engineers (IIMP), will focus on PERUMIN Hub. Considered the country’s most important open innovation program, PERUMIN Hub aims to find solutions to the great challenges of the mining sector through collaborative innovation.
The presentation “PERUMIN Hub: Innovation in tailings, grinding mills, and water treatment” will feature special guest Pía Torres, project executive of the Peruvian Mining Innovation Hub.
This Thursday, three innovative mining solutions related to tailings, grinding mills, and water treatment will be presented by Jhino Silva, Support Engineer Wear Analysis SAM at Metso Outotec; Ed Hanna, vice-president of research and technology development at ElectroKinetic Solutions; and Flavia Monzón, environmental specialist at PROESMIN.
