Lima, JUNE 27 2022 PERUMIN 35: setting up of EXTEMIN technological fair under way

With less than 100 days to go before the beginning of PERUMIN 35th Mining Convention, an event organized by the Peruvian Institute of Mining Engineers (IIMP), works to set up the Technological and Mining Exhibition Fair (EXTEMIN)—which will feature national and international companies from over 70 commercial sectors related to mining— continue.

In this edition, this technological fair will accommodate 1,200 stands in 5 pavilions, where suppliers of technological products and services for the mining industry will engage in an important commercial exchange and will stimulate investments.

The organizers said that EXTEMIN setup is going according to schedule, especially Pavilion 1, which will host the stands of the largest mining companies in the country, the sponsors of the event, and institutions such as the Ministry of Energy and Mines.

On the other hand, Pavilion 4 is over 80% complete. Some cutting, refilling, leveling, compaction, and concrete spacer installation works are still being done there and in Pavilion 5, where works are expected to be delivered in early July.

It is worth noting that PERUMIN 35, one of the most important mining events in the world, will be officially launched on July 6 in Arequipa, in an event that will be attended by the members of the organizing committee, presided by Claudia Cooper, and personalities from this important mining region.

PERUMIN 35 will go back to its face-to-face format from September 26 to 30, 2022, at Cerro Juli Convention Center.
