APURÍMAC, JUNE 22 2021 Minem, MEF and MTC meet at Rumbo a PERUMIN Apurímac

On June 23 and 24, Heading to PERUMIN will hold its second decentralized conference, which will have Apurímac as its main venue and which will focus on highlighting the main issues of the mining sector and the development of this important region.

For this, the Organizing Committee and the Peruvian Institute of Mining Engineers (IIMP) have confirmed the attendance of the Ministers of Economy and Finance (MEF), Waldo Mendoza; of Energy and Mines (Minem), Jaime Gálvez; and of Transport and Communications, Eduardo González.

The head of the MEF will present a talk on "Recovery of the economy and promotion of public investment"; and Minister González will discuss the strategic projects of shared infrastructure in Apurímac.

For his part, Minister Gálvez will be in charge of the second decentralized conference together with the president of PERUMIN 35 Mining Convention, Claudia Copper.

Likewise, the Vice Minister of Mines, Jorge Luis Montero will be responsible for sharing the potential of the projects portfolio in Apurímac. On this last point, let us remember that the construction projects portfolio currently represents a joint investment of USD 10 billion.
