Lima, JUNE 14 2022 Virtual Mining Thursday will be livestreamed to the IIMP auditorium as of June 16

Lima, June 14, 2022. The Peruvian Institute of Mining Engineers will livestream the conferences to be presented at Virtual Mining Thursday to the auditorium of its traditional branch in the district of La Molina, as of this Thursday, June 16, announced general manager Carlos Diez Canseco.

“As of Thursday 16, we will show the conferences presented at Virtual Mining Thursday on the screen of our auditorium, which accommodates 250 people and will be open at full capacity. This initiative is the starting point towards an in-person interaction that will benefit all our members,” he said.

As part of the event Rumbo a PERUMIN, this week’s Virtual Mining Thursday brings us the lecture entitled “Socio-economic impact of mining in the Apurímac-Cusco-Puno corridor from both a historical and a future perspective.”

The lecture will be given by Rudy Laguna, director of the Center for Competitiveness and Development, who will be accompanied by Baltazar Lantarón, regional governor of Apurímac; Mauricio Rodríguez, former regional governor of Puno; and Paul Pilco, TV Peru correspondent in Apurímac.

The lectures presented at Virtual Mining Thursday will also be streamed to the Peruvian Institute of Mining Engineers’ official Facebook account and YouTube channel to reach a wider audience.
