Economist and general manager of the Peruvian Institute of Mining Engineers (IIMP), Carlos Diez Canseco, announced the return of the International Meeting to the engaging program being prepared by the organizers of PERUMIN 35th Mining Convention, in its face-to-face format.
The International Meeting is one of the most important forums where delegations from different countries will convene to foster development and exchange ideas about innovation and sustainability.
There academic, economic, and cultural experiences will be shared by leading mining countries, like Australia, Germany, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Sweden, among others, which have already confirmed they will attend this world-class conclave.
“The idea is to promote the opportunities for the socio-economic development of the country, to analyze and discuss the challenges facing our mining industry, and to strengthen the development of know-how, based on research, innovation, and new technologies,” pointed out Diez Canseco during the event CEO Mining Business Night.
IIMP’s representative highlighted the fact that many of the challenges of the Peruvian mining sector could find an innovative solution in other countries’ experiences, and vice versa, which is why this forum is such a great opportunity to address them.
PERUMIN is one of the world’s most relevant mining events. It has positioned Peru as the meeting point for the mining industry, gathering international delegations, government authorities, company representatives, professionals, mining technicians, and scholars.
PERUMIN 35, a face-to-face event organized by the Peruvian Institute of Mining Engineers, will take place in Arequipa from September 26 to 30. Attendees to the event will be given all the necessary health and safety guarantees.
