LIMA, SEPTEMBER 27 2021 Heading to PERUMIN received more than 25,000 visits

The central event of Heading to PERUMIN - Bicentennial Edition, "Competitive and sustainable proposals for the development of Peru", a free access fair for professionals in the mining sector and for the general public, was held from September 20 to 24.

According to the organizers - the Peruvian Institute of Mining Engineers (IIMP) and the Organizing Committee of PERUMIN 35 Mining Convention - the event was visited by more than 25,000 people from Peru and abroad over the five days of its duration.

Similarly, a total of 10,000 registrants had the opportunity to participate in this first public meeting between government authorities and representatives of the mining sector, where the main challenges of the Peruvian mining industry and its real importance for the present and future of the country were highlighted.

During the week, attendees had the opportunity to listen to 50 top-level speakers, including 6 world mining leaders such as senior executives from Newmont, Freeport-McMoRan, Anglo American and Grupo México.

Companies and stands

The main event of Heading to PERUMIN - Bicentennial Edition featured an exhibition area in which more than 76 mining companies and suppliers participated.
