NEWS, INTERVIEWS AND EVERYTHING RELATED TO PERUMIN IN THE MEDIA

PERUMIN Hub is the main open innovation program that takes place within the framework of the activities of Heading to PERUMIN Bicentennial Edition, whose motto is "Generating prosperity for Peruvians".

The Peruvian Institute of Mining Engineers (IIMP) and the Mining Innovation Hub of Peru - organizers of the program - announced that innovators will have the opportunity to present their proposals until Monday, July 19, until 5:00 pm.

Its purpose is to promote spaces for an open and inclusive debate on mining and proposes to analyze the importance of this industry for Peru and to rethink its role for the coming years.

Great expectation

Since its launch, PERUMIN Hub has attracted more than 400 innovators, who have registered on the program's platform and have been able to connect through the Matchmaking 1 and Matchmaking 2 linking platforms, processes in which they have not only been able to find solutions, but also receive feedback from mining companies.

"The number of people who have registered on the platform to date is a reflection of our work to stimulate the innovative ecosystem in the field of mining, which has a high potential for development. PERUMIN Hub has collaboration as a pillar and we are pleased to see how other initiatives are incorporating similar designs that include opportunities in this type of processes to consolidate the mining sector as a sector that innovates in community", said Pamela Antonioli, General Manager of the Mining Innovation of Peru Hub.

A total of 17 companies from the mining sector are participating in PERUMIN Hub and are in charge of giving a first look at their possible solutions allowing them to be oriented towards the objectives they are pursuing.

In addition, the launch of free and open access platforms has allowed for the current high level of attendance.

During the linking stages, there was participation by solution providers from Germany, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Spain, Israel and New Zealand, who have been sharing experiences and, above all, knowledge for the joint development of innovative proposals framed in three thematic areas: environment and sustainability, water resources and mining 4.0.
