  • During the evaluation stage of the competition, the best innovations will be presented to representatives of 17 mining companies and the finalists in Heading to PERUMIN.

    PERUMIN Hub, the main open and collaborative innovation program in the country, has been raising the expectations of more than 400 innovators, who have registered on the program's platform and have been able to connect through the matchmaking 1 and matchmaking 2 linking platforms. processes in which they have not only been able to find solutions, but also receive feedback from mining companies.

    A total of 17 companies from the mining sector are participating in PERUMIN Hub and are responsible for giving a first look at their possible solutions, allowing them to be oriented towards the objectives they are pursuing.

    In addition to this, the launching of free and open access platforms has allowed for the current high level of attendance.

    "The number of people who have registered on the platform to date is a reflection of our work to stimulate the innovative ecosystem in the mining field, which has a high potential for development. PERUMIN Hub's pillar is collaboration and we are pleased to see how other initiatives have been incorporating similar designs that include instances of linkage in this type of process to consolidate the mining sector as one that innovates in community", said Pamela Antonioli, General Manager of the Mining Innovation of Peru Hub.

    During the linking stages, the Hub was able to count on the participation of solvers from Germany, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Spain, Israel and New Zealand, who have been sharing experiences and knowledge for the joint development of innovative proposals framed in three thematic areas: environment and sustainability, water resources and mining 4.0.

    Until July 12, innovators will be able to present their proposals for the great challenges of the mining sector, positioning mining as a sector that innovates in community. PERUMIN Hub is the open innovation program that is developed within the framework of the activities of Heading to PERUMIN Bicentennial Edition, whose motto is "Generating prosperity for Peruvians". It aims to promote spaces for an open and inclusive debate on mining and proposes to analyze the importance of this industry for Peru and to rethink its role for the coming years.
