• Company managed to obtain the “Bicentennial Seal” granted by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and the Congress of the Republic of Peru up to 2024.

Gold Fields has been showing that their purpose of creating value that will last beyond mining is growing stronger and is reflected on each of the actions the company performs. This year, it managed to obtain the “Bicentennial Seal” that underpins Gold Fields’ sustainable management in five of the six core ideas of Perú Bicentenario [Bicentennial Peru]: Integrity and Fight Against Corruption, Sustainability, Equal Opportunities, Integration and Competitiveness, and Identity and Diversity.

The document presented compiled information on various activities and projects performed both inside and outside the company, thus showing the big commitment from collaborators as well as the collaborative work typical of its culture, since each collaborator largely contributes to such successful results.

"Obtaining the Bicentennial Seal is one more recognition of all the effort all our teams make at their various projects, initiatives and actions aligned with our purpose of creating value that lasts beyond mining and contributing to our country sustainability," were the words from Veronica Valderrama, HR VP at Gold Fields.

This is one more achievement in addition to the acknowledgements the company has been receiving throughout this time. It was also recognized within the Top 10 of Peru’s Socially Responsible Companies (DESR) promoted by Peru Sostenible, and has won 3 categories in the “Good Labor Practices” contest, organized by Peru’s Ministry of Labor.
